Question For Seniors Have you ever Legally Changed Your First Name because You Hated it?
I haven’t , because I like my name. But many people do…more than you would think. I was a nurse for 40-odd years, and you get to know things like this. I’d say that about 20%of all older people, use a name that is different from their original name. All those old guys called Bill, Bob, Pete…a lot of them used to be Virgil, Uriah or Elvan. And the Bettys, Marys and Annes used to be Thurline, Ethel or Alpharetta.
Its not only the younger generation that uses odd names….there were some pretty amazing names around in the past ! If you want to change, it, go right ahead. Names are how we are perceived in the world….get yourself one that you like. Good luck to you.
